Course Structure and Duration
The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of:
-Knowledge Development about the basics scuba diving with your local dive center.
-Confined Water Dives (pool) to learn basic scuba skills with your local dive center
-Open Water Dives in the warm Mexican Caribbean with us to practice your skills and explore underwater

You can start learning with PADI’s home-study materials – Open Water Diver TouchTM or the Open Water Diver Manual and Open Water Diver Video.
Stop by your local PADI dive shop to enroll in the course, and ask for the “Referral Option”. Get your materials and start reading the book and watching the video. Your PADI Instructor will schedule time with you for knowledge review and pool sessions (confined water). You will learn and practice all the skills you need before safely diving in the Open Water.
Your instructor will also give you a form filled out with your accomplishments and his/her personal information and signature so you can finish your PADI Open Water Diver course with us.
In the PADI Open Water Diver course, you will also learn to use basic scuba diving equipment, including a mask, snorkel, fins, regulator, buoyancy control device and a tank. The equipment you will use it top of the line, serviced and renewed constantly.
