So you want to learn to cave dive, eh? Well, you’ve come to the right place, amigo!

Learning to cave dive is an exhilarating experience. It can also be challenging if you’re new to diving and have little or no previous diving experience.

We are a Technical Diving International (TDI) Five Star Dive Center and Instructor Training Facility in Mexico’s Riviera Maya. We offer training programs for aspiring cave divers, some specifically designed for first-time divers.

Cave diving may sound like something reserved for explorers and very experienced scuba divers, but trust us when we say you have to start somewhere. The TDI Sidemount Diver course is an excellent introduction to technical diving and the first step toward Cave and Technical diving. Many technical divers begin their careers as cave divers because the TDI Cave Diving course helps you master the essential skills and experience.

Best Cenote Divers

I just got back from Puerto Aventuras and was initially going to go with the bigger name dive shop in the area. Thankfully I researched further and found Divers Underground. They provided fantastic service and were extremely informative. The dives were great and very personalized. I wouldn’t look at another shop when I return.

Highly recommend!!

My wife and I just finished a trip to Playa del Carmen. It was my wife’s first time diving the cenotes. Several years ago was my first time with Divers Underground. Lara was amazing and incredibly helpful. She made the process absolutely seamless from pickup to drop-off. She strategically selected which cenotes to dive and in what order to give us an unforgettable experience. Alex was our guide and did an excellent job as well. I wish we had allowed more time during our trip to dive additional cenotes or more technical cave diving. We plan to return soon and will book with them again.

Cenote diving in Playa Del Carmen

This is my 2nd time booking with Divers Underground for diving the Cenotes. I went with Camilo's recommendations for which Cenotes to try this time around, and they were all terrific dives. Very professional and personal service, with easy pickup from the ferry as I was staying over on Cozumel.
